Here is a very nice Frank Wesson swivel breech single shot pocket rifle that has been rechambered to accept 22 Magnum rimfire cartridges. This rifle has an 18" long octagon barrel with a bright, excellent bore. The rifle has serial #2155 located on the belly of the barrel, the butt of the grip frame and on the skeletal butt stock. The barrel exhibits a mixture of thinning original blue finish with a pleasing soft brown patina. The grip frame and skeletal butt stock retain 98% original chrome finish. The hammer and spur trigger retain good but mellowed original case colors. The rosewood grips contain a circular brass monogram plate on the left side with the initial "L" in cursive and rate near excellent. The individual who previously owned this rifle scratched the new caliber on the left side of the barrel. This rifle is equipped with a modern brass bead front sight by Lyman and the original rear sight. Mechanical, the rifle functions perfectly as I just had to try it out.
