Here is a Ruger Hawkeye single shot revolver in 256 Win Mag caliber with an 8 1/2" long barrel having a bright, excellent bore. This handgun has serial # 676 and was manufactured the first year (1963). The metal surfaces retain about 97% original blue finish with loss due to  light scratches on the left side of the frame (see photo) and light holster wear on the left side at the muzzle. The walnut grips with black Pheonix medallions rate excellent with light handling marks. This collectible handgun was initially intended for handgun hunting or silhouette shooting but was discontinued in 1964. Mechanically, this handgun functions perfectly. Features include the factory adjustable rear sight and factory threaded holes for scope mounting as an option. A nice low serial numbered investment piece. {C&R}
