Here is a very nice Smith & Wesson model 49 Bodyguard double action revolver in 38 Spl caliber with a 1 7/8" long barrel having a bright, excellent bore. This revolver has serial #J66091 and was manufactured some time during the early 1970's. The metal surfaces retain 99% original blue finish. The hammer and trigger retain dark original case colors overall. The smooth service style Goncalo Aves grips with factory medallions rate near excellent with light handling marks. This revolver features the pinned barrel and mechanically, functions perfectly. A great little self protection piece that doubles as an investment.  {C&R} (see photos)
