Here is a very nice falling block target rifle by C.G. Haenel in 8.15x46 Norma caliber with a 31 1/2" long fluted barrel having a bright, near excellent bore. The barrel retains perhaps 95% original blue finish with the loss located on the underside. The receiver exhibits a pleasing brown patina with perhaps 30% of its original color case hardening in protected areas and is fully engraved with a cherub on the right side holding a target and surrounded by geometric designs of the leafy nature along with border lines. The checkered walnut butt stock with high comb cheek rest, thumb rest and sling swivel and uncheckered fortearm with schnabel tip rate excellent with a couple light dings present. This rifle features an open top partial globe style bead front sight and double set triggers. The tang peep sight is missing. Mechanical, the rifle appears to function perfectly. An attractive looking German schuetzen rifle. {C&R}  (see photos)
