Here is a very early Remington model 700 BDL Varmint bolt action rifle in 22-250 Rem. caliber with a 24" heavy bull barrel having a bright, excellent bore. This rifle has serial #6211109 and a date code of January 1969. The metal surfaces retain 99% original blue finish. The bolt body retains most of its engine turned (polished) finish. The capped and checkered pistol grip Monte Carlo style walnut stock with cheek rest and ebony forend cap rates near excellent with light scratches and handling marks. Mechanically, this rifle functions perfectly. The rifle is equipped with a period Leupold 12x40mm fixed power target rifle scope with an adjustable objective, fine duplex reticle and excellent optics. The scope is mounted using a Redfield one piece scope mounting base and Redfield rings. A great early rifle that likely did a number on varmints these past 50 years.  {C&R}
