Here is a very fine Remington model 30 Express bolt action rifle in 30-06 Sprg. caliber with a 22" barrel having a bright, excellent bore. This rifle has serial #15319 and is date coded May 1928. This rifle was manufactured from 1926 through 1940. The metal surfaces retain 95% strong original blue finish with the loss located primarily on the bolt and butt plate from honest use. The checkered pistol grip walnut stock with schnabel style forearm tip rates near excellent having a few very minor handling marks. This rifle is equipped with standard factory sights, sling eyes and serrated steel butt plate with toe extension. The right side of the receiver has two filler screws which are designed for a side receiver peep sight. This rifle is NOT drilled and tapped for scope mounts which was commonly done at a later point in time by most owners in the day. The bolt body has a matching serial number with the receiver. Mechanically, this rifle functions perfectly. A short lived commercially produced rifle from the same equipment that produced our U.S. model 1917 military rifle.  {C&R} (see photos)
