Here is an early Colt model 1908 Hammerless semi-auto pocket pistol in 380 Auto caliber with a 3 3/4" barrel having a bright, excellent bore. This early type I pistol has serial #2907 and was manufactured during the second year (1909). The metal surfaces retain 785-80% original reflective blue finish with the balance exhibiting mostly a pleasing brown patina that blends in well. The trigger, extractor, grip screw and safety still retain about 93% of their strong original fire blue finish. The checkered hard rubber grips rate excellent with light wear. Mechanically, this pistol functions perfectly. Included with this pistol is one original seven round magazine marked "CALIBRE 380" which shows more wear than the pistol. The original hinge top cardboard box with matching serial number written on the bottom is present but it has moderate to heavy wear with splits and small sections of the upper half missing. A fine example of an early 1908 Hammerless Pocket Type I pistol.  {C&R}
