Here is a very nice and early Remington model 700 BDL Varmint bolt action rifle in 243 Win. caliber with a 24" long heavy bull barrel having a bright, excellent bore. The serial number is 6216619 and the date code is February of 1969. The metal surfaces retain 99% original blue finish with very light wear on the high edges. The bolt body has a factory engine polished appearance and is numbered to the receiver. The capped and checkered pistol grip Monte Carlo style walnut stock with cheek rest and ebony forend cap rates very good to near excellent with a few light dings and handling marks. This rifle is equipped with two piece Weaver scope mounting bases ready for your favorite scope.
