Here is a minty Winchester Pre-64 model 70 Featherweight bolt action rifle in 30-06 Spgfd. caliber with a 22" long barrel having a bright, excellent bore. This rifle has serial #534814 and was manufactured circa 1961. The metal surfaces retain 98% original blue finish with the loss located on the bolt handle and thinning only slightly. The checkered pistol grip Monte Carlo style walnut stock with a Linseed oil like finish rates excellent. This rifle features a hooded ramp front sight, folding leaf rear sight, factory sling swivels and two piece Weaver scope mounting bases. Mechanically, this rifle functions perfectly.
