Here is a  very fine System Borchardt Patent pistol marked Waffenfabrik / Loewe / Berlin with a 7 1/2" barrel having a bright, near excellent bore. This pistol is serial #499 located on the butt of the grip frame, shoulder stock lug, trigger, toggle, all four magazines, shoulder stock and cheek rest. The bridge of the receiver is stamped "Waffenfabrik / Loewe / Berlin" and the toggle is marked "D.R.P. / No. 75837". The metal surfaces retain 97% strong original blue finish with the loss due to high edge wear. The checkered walnut grips rate excellent with strong sharp points and void of any cracks or chips. The pistol includes a total of four original wood bottom magazines, shoulder stock, leather holster, screw driver kit, cleaning kit and solvents, all within the period factory case which has an oval monogram on top inscribed "W.J. Wright / Duxbury / Mass.". The exterrior of the case is missing some of its leather covering on the back and bottom side as well as one latch which attaches the handle to the case. The pistol is mechanically perfect and comes to us from a private colloector who has acqired his fathers collection in which this piece has been a part of since the early 1980's.
