U.S. M1 30 Caliber Carbine by I.B.M. Corp.

     Here is a  U.S. M1 30 caliber semi-auto carbine manufactured by the I.B.M. Corp. This carbine has "I.B.M. CORP. / 3886398 / AO" on the receiver, an 18" long "I.B.M. CORP." marked barrel with a bright bore, two rivet handguard and low wood pistol grip stock with wheel acceptance mark on the right side immediately behind the pistol grip section. This carbine has the Type B safety stamped "EPB", unmarked Type C operating slide, Type B magazine release stamped "PR-B", Type B front band, Type C recoil plate, Type B trigger housing stamped "BE-B", an "AM B" marked Type C hammer, an "SI B" marked front sight and a windage adjustable rear sight marked "I.R. Co. / 7160060" on the right side. The metal surfaces retain most of their thinning military type of gray finish with a few specks of pitting at the muzzle and on the front sight. The wear is mostly on the barrel and the usual areas based upon action usage. The breech bolt has more of a darker blue / black finish with similar wear and the butt plate appears to have been cleaned to a gun metal gray. The stock and hand guard rate very good with a few scattered dings and honest wear marks. This carbine includes a commercial manufactured 30 round metal magazine.
