This Remington manufactured 22 1/2" long round barrel is for the new model 4 single shot rolling block rifle in 22 S, L & LR caliber with a late variation takedown frame and is in good condition exhibiting a brownish gray patina with scattered specks of older rust. The bore is bright with minor pitting present. The barrel is marked "Remington Arms Co., Inc., Remington / Ilion Works, Ilion, N.Y. Made in U.S.A.".  (file photo)
