This United States Cartridge Co. manufactured blue, orange, and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of 22 Short blank cartridges with copper cases and buff wads and is in near excellent condition with light shelf wear. The company location "NEW YORK, N. Y." is printed on the top panel. "MADE IN U.S.A." is printed in the lower left corner and measures 1/2" long. The copper casings display the "US-4" headstamp and have a tarnish present.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced circa 1926 and was produced until 1928.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # US-9 S-1(a) variation. The difference observed is that this box displays blue printing as opposed to black.
