This American Gun Co. manufactured receiver is for the Hammer Double 16 gauge shotgun and is in very good condition exhibiting a mixture of original blue finish blending with a brown patina and having a few specks of light surface rust. This is the only part on the Hammer Double shotgun that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines. (file photos)
