This United States Cartridge Co. manufactured orange, blue and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Self-Cleaning 22 LR ammunition with copper cases and is in very good to near excellent condition with light shelf wear and dirt smudges. The top panel displays the words "MADE IN U.S.A.", a thumb cut on the right end, and a cartridge with NO cannelure in the casing. The front panel displays the printing "RIM FIRE RIFLE CARTRIDGES" while the back panel reads "RIM FIRE CARTRIDGES". Both sides of the box, the end flaps, and the bottom panel state "MADE IN U. S. A.". There is NO distance warning printed on the end flaps. The copper casings display two cannelures and the "US-4" headstamp and are coated with a layer of tarnish / filigree. The bullets display 4 grooves and the lubricant on the bullets has turned white with age.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # US-10A LR-1 variation. This box displays a cartridge with NO cannelure in the case on the top panel, the #3 style front panel, the #1 style back panel with the added words "MADE IN U. S. A.", the #2 style end flap, the B style bottom, and NO distance warning on the end flaps. This box does NOT display white printing. The cartridges display 2 cannelures on the copper cases and 4 grooves on the bullets.
