Barrel Sub-Assembly - 50 Caliber - Late Variation - Original
This Thompson Center manufactured late variation round barrel measures 26" long not including the breech plug and is for the right handed percussion New Englander muzzle loading rifle in 50 caliber. This sub-assembly consists of the barrel and the breech plug. The late variation barrel has the farther apart hole spacing for the late variation rear sight only. The overall condition is very good retaining 95% original blue finish with light wear and a few specks of rust. The bore rates very good with possibly a few specks of rust present. (file photos)
