Barreled Receiver - 4th Variation - (FFL Required)

This Savage manufactured fourth variation barreled receiver is for the model 1903 slide action rimfire rifle and is in good condition exhibiting a brown patina with some scattered spots of rust and possibly a light ding or two and traces of original blue finish in protected areas. The bore does have some pitting present. This is the only part on the model 1903 rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transfered through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.  The octagon barrel is 24" in length.  (file photos)

Note: Fourth variation barreled receivers will have the recessed lower tang which will be covered by the late variation butt stock and the receiver is machined to accept the late variation extractor which is sold seperately.
