Barreled Receiver - w/ Sights - w/ Intact Mum - (FFL Required)

This Japanese manufactured barreled receiver is for the type 38 Arisaka bolt action carbine in 6.5 Jap caliber and features a 19 1/2" long barrel with a good bore. This barreled receiver is in very good condition retaining a decent amount of its blue finish with the balance exhibiting a brownish gray patina and having some spots of rust staining. The front and rear sights are present but may not be of the style shown in the photos and if the front sight protectors are present, they may be damaged. The mum is 98% intact with just a few slash marks present. The receiver is the only part on the Type 38 Arisaka rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Barreled receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.  (file photos)
