These Remington manufactured third variation stripped 28" long Demascus steel standard weight barrels are for the model 1894 hammerless double shotgun in 12 gauge and are in about very good condition exhibiting a brownish gray patina with perhaps 25% of its thinning original demascus pattern with a few scattered specks of older rust and a light ding or two. The bores are bright and rate very good except for the visible dings. We recommend that they not be used but purchased only for display purposes. Third variation standard weight barrels measure 2 1/4" across, have the double hook on the underside designed for the second or later variation forend irons and use the later style rear locking block which requires the second variation standard weight extractor.
