Ideal 44-40 Single Cavity Bullet Mould With Handles
This Lyman Ideal manufactured single cavity 44-40 bullet mould with handles will cast a .44 diameter flat nose bullet. It is in very good condition with some rusting, black tarnishing, and scratches on the metal. On the bullet mould says "Ideal M'F'C-Co. New Haven CT, USA 44-40". On the other side of the mould it says "PAT. FEB. 11 & DEC. 23-84". This means it was patented in1884.
