Butt Plate - 1st Variation - Original
This Remington manufactured first variation plain steel butt plate is for the earlier No. 4 Rolling Block rimfire rifle with the early variation butt stock and is in good condition exhibiting a dark brown patina with scattered specks of pitting and older rust. Note: the curvature of the 1st and 3rd variation butt plates are different and will not interchange between early and late variation butt stocks. (file photos)
