Butt Plate w/o Widow's Peak - Synthetic - Quality Reproduction
This American made quality reproduced synthetic butt plate without widow's peak is for the Winchester model 1897 slide action shotgun and is in as new condition. This butt plate measures 1 11/16" wide and 5 1/8" tall and might need light sanding or hand filing to match your butt stock properly. (file photo)
Note: This butt plate is manufactured with a flat back edge and may leave a slight amount of daylight between the butt plate and the butt stock. If you so desire to make the butt plate have a slight curvature, the manufacturer suggest placing it in hot water for a short period of time and the butt plate will soften enough to allow a curvature to be added.
