C-I-L Imperial High Velocity Box of 22 LR Ammunition

This Canadian Industries Limited manufactured gold, black, red and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Imperial High Velocity 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and is in very good condition with light shelf wear, scratches, and some price sticker residue on the top panel. The top panel displays the words "22 LONG RIFLE" printed in white and the front and back panels state the muzzle velocity as 1285 feet per second. The product code "RF-62" is printed on the top portion of both end flaps. The brass casings display the "D-5" headstamp and have scattered spots of tarnish present.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1967 and was produced until 1976.

Note: This box is the Huegel # CIL-7 LR-1 variation. This box features the words "22 LONG RIFLE" printed in white on the top panel and a muzzle velocity of 1285 feet per second.
