Remington Hi-Speed Kleanbore Box of 22 Short Ammunition
This Remington manufactured red, green, and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Hi-Speed Kleanbore 22 Short ammunition with nickel cases and is in near excellent condition with light shelf wear and possibly the start of a tear from the bottom end flap corner into the bottom panel and/or a wrinkle in a corner of the end flap. The white portions of the box have turned a light tan with age. This box displays the half diamond thumb cut. The bottom of the box is factory rubber stamped with two sets of numbers/letters. The nickel casings display the "HI-16" headstamp and have a few spots of tarnish/rust present. (file photos)
Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1946 and was produced until around 1960.
Note: This box is the Huegel # REM-14 S-1(c) variation. This box uses nickel casings.
