Winchester Box of 9mm Ball Rim Fire Ammunition

This Winchester Repeating Arms Co. manufactured two piece, split top, cardboard box with green top label and orange side unbroken factory sealing band contains all 50 rounds of 9mm Ball Rim Fire ammunition is in good condition with moderate wear. There is fading and minor tearing on the labels.The bottom of the box has a split spanning the length of the right side edge and about 1 1/2' of the back side of the box. The top panel features Winchester above the words "Trade Mark reg. U.S. Pat. Off. and Throughout the World" and the label codes 2503 and 10-19. The front of the side sealing band displays an indented five line guarantee, the company name, the label codes 2506 and 12-19, and the dot punched date code. The back panel is labeled "Adapted to Winchester 9M/M Shot gun Also Flobert and Oher Makes. Both ends display a red W overprinted by the cartridge information in black.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1906 and was produced until circa 1911.
