Eley Box of 22 CB Ammunition
This Eley manufactured yellow, green, and black cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of reduced velocity 22 CB Caps ammunition with brass cases and is in near excellent condition with light shelf wear and smudging. This box displays a small thumb cut on each end of the box. The bottom of the box states "MANUFACTURED AT THE / ELEY-KYNOCH FACTORIES OF / IMPERIAL METAL INDUSTRIES / (KYNOCH) LIMITED, WITTON / BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND" and does NOT display the ICI logo. The brass casings display the "E-12" headstamp and have a few specks of tarnish present. (file photos)
Date of Manufacture: Unknown, but no earlier than 1962.
Note: This box is the Huegel # IMI-15 CB-2(c) variation. This box does NOT display the ICI logo on the bottom of the box. The brass casings display the "E-12" headstamp.
