Federal Champion Target Box of 22 LR Ammunition

This Federal Cartridge Corporation manufactured white, red and black cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Champion Target standard velocity 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and is in near excellent condition with light shelf wear, a wrinkled corner, and light ink smudging due to rubbing against another box of the same ammunition. The back panel features a barcode with a "0" printed beside it and ten digits printed underneath. The bottom panel features the company name "FEDERAL CARTRIDGE CORPORATION" and a CIP logo. The brass casings display an "F" headstamp (we are not sure which one) and have scattered specks of tarnish present. The lubrication on the bullets is turning white with age.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1982.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # FED-14 LR-1(f) variation. The differences observed are that the back panel displays the 0 half way up the side of the barcode and there is no 2 at the end. This box displays the "F" style bottom and a barcode is present on the back panel.
