Remington Box of .41 Short Rim Fire Ammunition

This Remington Arms union Metallic Cartridges Co. manufactured two piece, split top, cardboard box with green top label and red side color contains 9 out of 50 rounds of .41 Short Rim Fire ammunition. The box and the ammunition are both in degraded conditions. The box has many rips and tear and its structural integrity could easily be dimished by poor handling. Any writing on the sides of the boxes is illegible because it is missing critical chunks of the paper print. The box is also quite dirty which can make it harder to read certain words. The top of the box describes the ammunition, has an illustration of the bullet with information inside of it, has the classic "UMC" red logo, and information about the manufacturing company. The bottom of the box has a guarentee straight from the manufacturer dated 4-1. The bullets use black powder within them. The ammo was predominantly used in small pocket revolvers and derrigers.
