Remington New and Improved Kleanbore Box of 22 Long Ammunition - Partial Box

This Remington manufactured green, red and tan cardboard box contains 15 of the original 50 rounds of New and Improved Kleanbore 22 Long ammunition with brass cases and is in good to very good condition with light wear, a 5/16" split in the top, front edge of the box, a few small splits starting in the box corners or along the end flap hinge, and a wrinkle in one corner. A previous owner has attached a piece of clear shipping tape to the bottom of the box and both side panels. The bottom of the box has turned a deeper tan from age and may or may not be factory rubber stamped with two sets of numbers/letters. This box displays a semi-circle thumb cut on the left end of the box and the "DANGEROUS / WITHIN 1 MILE" end flap warning. The brass casings display the "U-3" headstamp and have scattered specks of tarnish present.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced circa 1939 and was produced until circa 1946.
