Western Super-X Box of 22 WMR Ammuntion - Hollow Point - Partial Box

This Winchester-Western Division manufactured yellow, red and white cardboard box contains 49 of the original 50 rounds of Super-X 40 grain 22 WMR ammunition with brass cases and jacketed, hollow point bullets and is in very good condition with light wear, some old tape residue, and some of the colorful layer of paper missing from the top panel, likely due to the removal of a price sticker. A previous owner has used a black marker on the left end flap. The bottom panel features "OLIN MATHIESON CHEMICAL CORPORATION" along the bottom edge. The brass casings display the "SU-1" headstamp and the copper plating is starting to wear off of the tips of the bullets.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1962 and was produced until 1971.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # WCC-12 WMR-1(a) variation. This light yellow box displays the "A" style bottom, but the wording does not match completely due to the fact that this is a WMR box.
