This Japanese manufactured 6" long late variation dust cover lacking the stamped sheet metal "L" shaped stop is for the Type 38 Arisaka bolt action carbine in 6.5 caliber and is in good condition exhibiting a brown patina with minor pitting, rust specks and honest wear. This dust cover is void of any arsenal marking but does have a 3 digit serial number. (file photos)
