Hammer - 1st Variation - Original
This Stevens manufactured first variation hammer is for the earliest of Favorite single shot falling block rimfire rifles which have the 1st variation (bow style) mainspring. This hammer has a checkered spur and is in good condition exhibiting a grayish brown patina with light wear and possibly a few specks of rust. (file photo)
Note: this part is commonly found on Stevens Favorite single shot rimfire rifles with 1st thru 4th variation receivers.
