Hammer Assembly - 2nd Variation - Original
This Winchester manufactured second variation hammer assembly is for the model 1897 slide action shotgun and is in very good condition exhibiting a grayish brown patina with light wear. This hammer assembly consists of the hammer, stirrup and stirrup pin. Second variation hammer assemblies have the square checkered panel on the spur without the widow's peak. (file photo)
