Lefever Nitro Special Double Barrel Shotgun in 20 Gauge
Here is a Lefever Nitro Special double barrel shotgun in 20 gauge with 28" long barrels having fixed full and modified chokes and bright bores with a few faint specks of oxidation about 6" from the muzzle. This Ithaca New York manufactured shotgun has serial number S201379. The barrels retain 97% original blue finish with a few light specks of older rust. The receiver retains perhaps 70% original case colors with the balance blending as a pleasing soft brownish gray patina. The checkered round knob semi-pistol grip walnut butt stock and splinter style forearm rate near excellent. Mechanically, this shotgun appears to function fine. A fine looking shotgun in a popular gauge as the nostalgic gentleman's bird gun. (see photos)
