Link Assembly - 30-30 Win or 32 Spl - 2nd Variation - Original

This Winchester manufactured second variation link assembly is for the post 64 model 94 lever action carbine in 30-30 or 32 Spl. caliber with serial numbers between 2,700,000 and 4,580,000 (1964-1977). This link assembly consists of the link, friction stud, friction stud spring and the friction stud stop pin. This assembly is in very good condition exhibiting a mixture of thinning original blue finish with a grayish brown patina and having light wear. (file photo)

Note: Second variation link assemblies have a friction stud stop (solid) pin (not roll type) which mounts at the rear most section of the rear side flat on or behind the curve (see photo), has a flat top (not ramped like the 3rd variation), a tapered downward cut on the front section (see photo) and the notch measures approximately .445" high (.075" +/- higher than the front portion of the link).
