This Lyman manufactured No. 57 receiver peep sight was manufactured during the 1950's or 1960's, has the early adjustment knobs, steel base and is marked "Lyman / 57MS" which indicates that this sight is for the Mossberg Model 144-LS bolt action rimfire rifle The overall condition is near excellent with light wear.
