Receiver - 12 Gauge - Early Variation - Plain - (FFL Required)
This Stevens manufactured early variation receiver is for the model 235 hammer double shotgun in 12 gauge and is in very good condition exhibiting a brownish gray patina with light wear and traces of original case colors in protected areas. This is the only part on the model 235 hammer double shotgun that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines. (file photos)
Note: The early variation model 235 hammer double shotgun receiver will be void of any scroll designs and will be simply stamped on the left side of the receiver: "J. Stevens Arms & Tool Co. / Chicopee Falls, Mass. U.S.A.".
