This Mossberg manufactured receiver & barrel assembly is for the model 144US bolt action rimfire rifle and is in very good condition exhibiting a grayish brown patina overall with traces of thinning original finish in protected areas. The receiver is the only part on the model 144US rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines. (file photo)
