Receiver - Model 1896 Marked - Antique
This Springfield Armory manufactured "Model 1896: marked receiver is for the American model 1896 Krag Jorgenson bolt action rifle and is in very good condition exhibiting a brownish gray patina with light wear and a few specks of rust present. The front bridge of the receiver has vice or wrench marks present and caused by a previous owner who improperly removed the receiver from the barrel.
