Remington Hi-Speed Kleanbore Box of 22 LR Ammunition

This Remington manufactured red, green and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Hi-Speed Kleanbore 22 LR ammunition with nickel cases and is in very good to near excellent condition with light wear, a few light wrinkles in the top panel due to impact on the corner, and an 1/8" split in the front, bottom right corner. One end of the cardboard ammo tray is coming unsealed and the white portions of the box have turned tan with age. This box displays the small, half diamond thumb cut. The bottom of the box may or may not be factory rubber stamped with two sets of numbers/letters. The nickel casings display the "HI-16" headstamp and have some specks of tarnish present.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1946 and was produced until around 1960.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # REM-14 LR-1(a) variation. The difference observed is that this box displays the small, half diamond thumb cut. This box uses nickel casings.
