Remington Hi-Speed Kleanbore Box of 22 LR Ammunition
This Remington manufactured red, green and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Hi-Speed Kleanbore 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and is in near excellent condition with light wear and a crease in the front panel due to the weight of other ammo boxes that were stored on top. The white portions of the box have turned a light tan with age. This box displays the small, half diamond thumb cut on the right end of the box. The brass casings display the "HI-16" headstamp and have scattered specks of tarnish present. (file photos)
Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1946 and was produced until around 1960.
Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # REM-14 LR-1(e) variation. The difference observed is that this box displays the small, half diamond thumb cut. This box uses brass casings.
