Remington Hi-Speed Kleanbore Box of 22 Short Ammunition - Hollow Point - Partial Box

This Remington manufactured red, green, and white cardboard box contains 48 of the original 50 rounds of Hi-Speed Kleanbore 22 Short ammunition with nickel cases and hollow point bullets and is in very good condition with light wear. The box has some wrinkles on the top likely caused by something heavy being placed on top of it and the white portions of the box have turned tan with age. The left end flap is only attached by a small piece and there is a 1/4" tear on the top back edge of the box. This box displays the large, semi circle thumb cut. The bottom of the box is factory rubber stamped with two sets of numbers/letters. The nickel casings display the "HI-16" headstamp.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1946 and was produced until around 1960.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # REM-14 S-2(b) variation. The difference observed is that this box displays the large, semi circle thumb cut. This box uses nickel casings.
