Remington Mark III Signal Pistol in 10 Gauge
Here is a Remington Mark III single shot signal pistol in 10 gauge with a 9" long fluid steel barrel having a very good bore. The barrel retains about 85% of its original blue finish with some scattered specks of rust and possibly a few specks of pin prick pitting. The brass frame exhibits a pleasing ochre patina. The smooth walnut grips rate very good except for a 1 1/2" vertical crack on the upper left side. The belly of the receiver is stamped "KKK". The frame and barrel are both stamped with the matching serial number which is 18862. Mechanically, this pistol functions properly. A nice example for the collector. {C&R} (see photos)
