These Remington manufactured stripped 28" long fine twist steel barrels are for the Whitmore model 1878 Heavy Duck hammer double shotgun in 10 gauge and are in very good condition exhibiting a brownish gray patina with some scattered specks of older rust staining. The bores have spots of pitting throughout and we recommend that they NOT be used for their intended purpose but purchased only for display purposes. (file photos)
