Sears High Velocity Box of 22 LR Ammunition

This Federal Cartridge Corporation / Sears, Roebuck & Co. manufactured red, white and black cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of high velocity 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and copper-plated bullets and is in very good condition with light wear, scuffing, a few lightly wrinkled corners, and several small spots where the colorful layer of paper is missing. The left end flap is missing approximately half of its colorful layer of paper. The side panels state "SOLD BY SEARS, ROEBUCK & CO., CHICAGO, ILLINOIS · MADE IN U.S.A." across the bottom edge. The product code 56603 is printed on both end flaps. This box uses a short, plastic ammo tray. The brass casings display the "F-8" headstamp and have scattered specks of tarnish present.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1968 and was produced until circa 1971.

Note: This box is the Huegel # SEARS-12 LR-1(c) variation. This box displays the #1 style top and side panels and uses a short, plastic ammo tray. The product code 56603 is printed on both end flaps.
