Smith & Wesson Model 36 Factory Original Box

This blue and silver colored Smith&Wesson box is in near excellent condition with honest wear. There is some dust damage to the top of the box, part of the identifying label is peeling off, the edges of the carboard have some peeling of the weaker layers, and there is minor rusting on the metal hooks that keep the edges held together. The top panel of the box was a striped rectangular patter, the S&W seal, and a label citing that this is a S&W box. THe left panel of the box has details about the .38 Chiefs Special Model 36 printed directly on the box with grey font. The right side panel has a sticker that has specifications about the specific firearm that was kept in this box. Inside the bottom half of the box there is a statement of liability, warranty information, date (April 15, 1955), and print that says "Smith & Wesson Springfield, Mass., U.S.A.". The box is a two piece split top box.
