Tang Screw - Forward - 4th Variation - Original
This Thompson Center manufactured fourth variation forward tang screw is for the New Englander muzzle loading rifle which has the hole completely through the stock and allows this screw to secure the tang to the trigger guard pinching the stock in between. Your muzzle loader requires the late variation stock, late variation tang and late variation trigger guard. This screw is in very good condition with light slot wear. (file photo)
