Western T22 Box of 22 LR Ammunition - Partial Box

This Winchester-Western Division manufactured white, red and blue cardboard box contains 46 of the original 50 rounds of T22 Target 40 grain 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and is in very good condition with light wear and a crease in the back panel. The 1978 style child warning inside of a rectangle is printed along the bottom edge of the top of the box. Each end flap displays a 1 1/2 mile distance warning and a code made up of letters and numbers (R0CLR25 on the left flap and E108506 on the right). The brass casings display the "W-3" headstamp and have scattered spots of tarnish present.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1978.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # WCC-53 LR-2(c) variation. The differences observed are the printing on this box is in blue ink as opposed to black and this box displays 2 small blue stripes that run from one panel edge to the next panel edge of the box. The location of the stripes may vary from box to box. This box uses the # 3 & 4 style end flaps.
