Winchester Leader Box of 22 LR Ammunition - Partial Box

This Winchester-Western Division manufactured yellow, red, blue and white cardboard box contains 31 of the original 50 rounds of Leader 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and is in good to very good condition with light wear, moderate soiling, and a small water stain on one end flap. The white portions of the box have turned a light tan with age. The front panel displays four lines of product information and the back panel displays a cartridge. The bottom panel features the company name "WINCHESTER-WESTERN DIVISION" and states "OLIN MATHIESON CHEMICAL CORPORATION" below the trademark information. The end flap warning is printed facing the top panel and states "RANGE 1 MILE / BE CAREFUL". The brass casings display the "H-10" headstamp and have scattered specks of tarnish present.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1959 and was produced until 1962.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # WRA-55 LR-3(b) variation. The difference observed is that the range warning on the end flaps is printed facing the top panel as opposed to facing the rest of the end flap and the bottom panel. This box displays the "G" style bottom panel and the #2 style end flap warning.
