Guard Bow - aka Trigger Guard - Early Variation - Original
This Winchester manufactured early variation (trigger) guard bow is for the earlier model 1897 slide action shotgun and is in very good condition exhibiting a brownish gray patina with light wear. Early variation trigger guards are designed to mount their trigger stop screw from the outside forward section of the guard. (file photo)
